Quito-Manta-Alándaluz Route:

• BY AIRPLANE: There are two airlines flying to Manta:

Timetables:
- Monday through Saturday at 06:30 am.
- Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday at 19:00 pm.

One way ticket costs 49,00 USD. (Quito-Manta).

The visitor has to catch a cab from the Airport Terminal to the Manta Bus Terminal (the cost is approximately $5.00 USD). At the bus terminal a bus called “Manglaralto” has to be caught (the cost is approximately $3.00 USD). The service starts at 6:00 am and there are buses every two hours until 14:00 pm. The trip lasts approximately 3 hours.

• BY BUS: If you chose to travel by bus, the following bus transportation services are available to Manta:

The trip will last approximately 7 to 8 hours and the cost ranges between 8,00 to 10,00 USD.

At the bus terminal, the visitor has to catch a bus called “Manglaralto” at the (the cost is approximately $3.00 USD). The service starts at 6:00 am and there are buses every two hours until 14:00 pm. The trip lasts approximately 3 hours.

• DRIVING YOUR OWN CAR: If you travel in your own car from Quito you have two options :
1. To drive by the South Panamerican Highway to Alóag
2. To drive by the “Rumiñahui” Highway (“Valle de los Chillos”) up to the “San Rafael” By-pass and take the “Sangolqui” – “Amaguaña” – “Alóag” road.

At “Alóag” take the Coast or Pacific Highway to “Santo Domingo” – “El Carmen” – “Chone” – “Tosagua” – “Rocafuerte” – “Manta” (E 15), crossing “Puerto Cayo”, “Machalilla”, “Puerto López” and “Puerto Rico”. The trip from Quito to the “Hostería Alandaluz” will take approximately 8 hours.



Quito- Portoviejo-Alándaluz Route:

• BY AIRPLANE: There is one airline flying to Portoviejo:

One-way ticket costs 48,95 USD. (Quito-Portoviejo).
The visitor has to catch a cab from the Airport Terminal to the Portoviejo Bus Terminal (the cost is approximately $3.00 USD). At the bus terminal a bus to “Jipijapa” has to be caught (the cost is approximately $2.00 USD)

When arriving to “Jipijapa” the visitor has to ask where to catch the bust going to “Libertad”; this bus shall leave visitor at the door of “Alandaluz”. The trip lasts approximately 3 hours.

• BY BUS: If you select to travel by bus, there are several bus companies traveling to Portoviejo:

When arriving to “Libertad”, the visitor has to catch a bus called “Manglaralto”. The cost is approximately 2,00 USD. The trip lasts approximately 4 hours.

• DRIVING YOUR OWN CAR: If you drive your own car, drive in the route:

“El Progreso” – “Libertad” – “Manglaralto” – “Montañita” – “Olón” – “Ayampe” – “Las Tunas”-“Alándaluz”.
