Our beautiful blue planet is in danger:
Contamination of the air, soil, rivers and oceans, deforestation, vanishing of plant and animal species, elimination of ethnic groups and indigenous cultures, corruption, war and increasing violence everywhere, ideological, moral, religious and cultural crisis, increasing unevenness, population growth and resources practically exhausted.
The world is ruled by a savage and plundering capitalism that does not work, likewise, the statist and oppressive capitalism showed to be a total failure. The world is full of demagogues who lie to the people and pact with the corrupt and exploiters. There is an evident lack of statesmen with real love the people and with new and positive visions of the future. The crisis is serious and overall. Isn’t there a way out?
During past crises of humanity, Buda, Christ, Confucious, Mahoma, Saint Francis of Asis, Whitman, Bolivar, etc appeared to save the world. However today we cannot expect the arrival of a worldwide leader or leaders. ……we have to discover in the deepest of our hearths a Buda, a Saint Francis of Asis, able to feel and live love committed to the world.- We have to discover in the deepest of ourselves the clearness and capacity to exclaim: Brother Sun, Sister Moon, Mother Land, Friend, my Son, although not your son, my Father, although not your father.
If the crisis affects us all….all of us have to join together and search together the solution. We have to face bravely and creatively the challenges of History we are to confront. Every one of us, at the job site, at the home town, at the neighborhood, as professionals and students have to contribute to find the solution.
The Fundamental Revolution required by planet is everybody’s task. Everyone is important. !!!!!!. Everyone is necessary.!!!!!! In the deepest of our selves dwells the untamed, rebel, passionate and wise son of the Mother Land.
